This photo shows the discussions happened on google docs. During the class hours, we discussed on how to create a game on math subject and chat with other group members on comment section. We created game together on Google docs.

Google Docs is one of the most useful digital tools I have used as a learner. It is online word tool that allow people to write, edit, collaborate and share ideas. I think google docs is more than just a writing tool. I believe it is a powerful co-constructive tool because it allows learners and teachers to build knowledge together by working on the same document, sharing ideas and giving feedback. Co-constructive means learning and creating with others. Google docs. makes this easy by allowing multiple users to write and edit the same document at the same time. For example, recently I worked with my classmates on creating a math game. First, we discussed on a comment section. Then, we created a game where each group member contributes their part. This helps us to suggest changes, learn from one another and develop important teamwork skills.

Teacher can also use Google docs to guide students while they are learning. For example, last time our teacher looked at each group while we discussed on game. This will help the student to work equally and to avoid free riders. It will also help the students to correct their mistakes and learn better. The other feature about Google docs is that it encourages respectful communication and shared responsibility. In here, everyone has the chance to participate and contribute their voice. It will help the shy or quiet students to share their ideas by typing them in the document. This makes learning more interactive.

Google docs also support learning outside the classroom. Students can work from home, using the phone or laptop but need internet connectivity. When students are not able to meet in person, google docs will help them to stay connect with others and continue their learning. I used Google docs after I joined this college. I have heard about google docs but didn't have any idea on it. I used google docs during first semester class in APC, in which sir has assigned us group work. Recently, I used a google docs to discuss to discuss on our group work in designing our lesson plan. This was very different from the traditional way of group work, while others just watched or gave ideas. We became active learners who help one another, learn and grow together. I hope more students will use google docs for group work, projects and writing because it makes learning easier, fun and interactive.
